My Hollywood Suvival Kit

After spending the last year and a half hopping back and forth between New York and LA, I've realized there are certain things that I can't survive with out:

IN THE CAR:
  • Chargers for phone, blackberry, ipod, and bluetooth (both car adapters, and regular ones)
  • Roll of quarters
  • Moleskin Notebook and a pen
  • Ipod adapter
  • $20 in singles for valets when you have no cash
  • Bottled water
  • Gum
  • Chapstick
  • Baseball cap
  • Back-up Sunglasses
  • Extra pair of contact lenses for when you loose one in the pool or the ocean
  • City of West Hollywood Guest Parking Permit (those tickets can be brutal)

IN THE TRUNK:
  • A pressed white shirt, blazer and tie
  • A clean white v-neck t-shirt (i like jockey or 2xist pima)
  • A bag packed with swim suit, flip flops, sunblock spray and a towel (if you happen to find yourself at the beach or an impromptu pool party
  • A DAVID BRIAN SANDERS votive candle for, that unexpected birthday, housewarming, or thank you gift.
  • A backup bluetooth headset for when yours goes missing. (trust me it happens more than you think)

NECCESSARY PHONE NUMBERS :

323 656-1010
Nicole at The Chateau Marmont (never know when you'll need a last minute lunch reservation)

323 871-8497
Lambent Services for when you have too much to do and need an assistant at a moment's notice

310 443-8018
Mark Slicker Salon -- when you need to get your haircut right now

323 297-0554
Shorty's Barber Shop -- you didn't shave this morning or for the last few days, and you have a meeting that you're going to wear that shirt, blazer, and tie that are in your trunk too.

The Hills are North, the Pacific Ocean is West and like Bette Davis said, "Take Fountain."
